Hey Jaster
just wondering if maybe you could put the old stuff in an Archive, where we could still have access to it, but it would not be confusing the message boards.
also any chance of putting in a recent topics tab/button? that way we see what has been posted since our last visit immediately?

The only thing I dislike about these proboards is the archive method. I was thinking the same thing, but we can only delete the older messages, so I figured I would keep them on just in case someone from the past saw their old topic & wanted to give us an update.
Your other concern I will look into, thanks!

ok cool! makes sense now, I'd rather have them than have them gone too, I love the resources from them
Also, have you thought about a myspace page for the warriors, to get it going again? I'm sure the oldies but goodies are out there!

The colored bantha skull on the left is a good way to find out what's new, that's how I browse. However that only works on the main page, perhaps something could be done to the thread listings along the same lines...

Packrat,
Good that you mentioned that, I'm working on putting a little gif image next to each brand new post inside the main topic categories.

Hah, I saw the giant "NEW" icon next to this thread on my way here. It kind of blended in and the mouseover highlight looked kind of weird, but it works I guess.
e: upon looking, perhaps instead of doing that you could change the folder icon on the far left of each thread to something else when there is an unread post in it. Maybe that would look better than the oval "NEW!" thing?
