Hello everyone...yup, that's me.the new guy. I've been 'lurking' for quite some time drooling over the stuff you all have done! WOW Keep up the great work. Just letting you all know I'm here and have been working on my armor for the last 2 months. Although I am not using Sintra (seems us dumb hicks in Nebraska never heard of Sintra so I can't buy any) I am using Sandhills plastic, flat PVC basically. Very similar to Sintra but not as flexible. So it takes hotter temperatures to form it, and I have really been trying to find the right combination to sand and paint the plastic. Right now I am sanding with 3 different types of sand paper, ending with a 400 grain paper, so the Krylon Fusion spray paint will stick. I hope this latest attempt on scrap parts will work. So while the paint is curing to the plastic, says at least 7 days to cure, I will start on my blaster. Since this will be my first try i am using a crossman pellet gun to start off with and build on. When I get some pics I'll post links here. Seems the colors I like are pretty popular. Black and marroon Soon my wife will be making the vest for me, its a synth leather or vinyl material.

Allan, you're very enthusiastic, glad to see somebody managed to greet the new guy.
Anyhoo, welcome Tanner! I don't pop up here very often, so if you don't see me after this don't worry - I didn't die, I'm just busy. I can't wait to see the progress you've made. It's far more than what I've done - which is nothing -_-. One of these days, I'll get the motivation to start my own set of armor, like the rest of you devout fans.
*sighs*
